Welcome to Liberty Middle School!

Home of the Patriots!

A Cambridge Magnet School!

Hello, Lovers of Liberty!

It is my esteemed pleasure to be your principal for the 2025-2026 school year. I am excited about all of the great things we will accomplish together this year. Your student will engage in high quality learning and be provided a safe environment to grow, learn and thrive! It is the role of every adult on the campus to make sure each stakeholder has a great experience while visiting our school.

As we know, no one man is an island, so it is important that we collaborate on a shared vision to help our students achieve success. We can all do this together by following our OCPS 2030 Strategic Plan:

Commiitments:

  • High Expectations for Student Mastery
  • Safe and Supportive Enviornment
  • Purposeful and Student-centered Team
  • Efficient and Fiscally Sound Operations
  • Engaged and Invested Community

Parents, we ask for your continued support. Please visit Skyward or Canvas regularly to monitor academic performance and attend school events. Remember, we are here to help create a positive climate for each student and we need your help in making this happen.

We celebrate our students’ successes and provide them with the self-efficacy skills to be this next generations leader! Please don’t be a stranger and feel free to let us know how we can engage you as being a part of our team! We look forward to collaborating with you this year! Let us know how we can be of service to you and your family.

Best Regards,

Johndrell Jones,
Principal
